At the heart of the Shark 6 lies BYD’s advanced DMO (Dual Mode Off-road) Super-Hybrid platform, an innovative body-on-frame chassis system engineered for enhanced off-pavement performance and efficiency, smoothly integrating a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine with two powerful electric motors. Together, they deliver an exhilarating driving experience, where features like regenerative breaking and intelligent power management further enhance Shark 6’s sustainable credentials.

The Shark 6, too, sets a new standard in its segment with an impressive 429 horsepower, while boasting a formidable 650 Nm of torque that delivers robust pulling power, and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, capable of towing up to 2.5 tonnes, making it ideal for demanding tasks and adventurous pursuits.

Equipped with long-travel double wishbone independent suspension, the pioneering pick up also offers a balanced blend of driving agility and comfort – be it on paved roads or a variety of tricky terrains – while a combined range of 520 km, mated to Mud, Sand, and Snow terrain modes, Shark 6 competently tackles range anxiety as well as a diverse range of conditions.
